Uniform Information

Merit Uniform

All students are expected to wear full Merit school uniform as outlined below:

• Merit polo shirt
• Plain black V-neck jumper, plain black cardigan, Merit round necked or hooded sweatshirt
• Black school trousers (no jeans or leggings) or black knee length skirt
• Plain black school shoes
• Black or grey socks

PE Kit

• A blue t-shirt will be provided free of charge for all our students
• Black jogging bottoms, shorts or leggings

Outdoor Learning

• A waterproof jacket with a hood
• Waterproof trousers
• Walking boots

It is essential that all students wear the correct clothing to stay safe and warm during outdoor learning lessons. If you would like Merit to provide any of the clothing needed for outdoor learning please let Kira in the Merit office know your requirements.

Expectations

• Hair: no patterns or bright artificial colours
• Jewellery: No jewellery is allowed apart from one small stud earring per ear.
• No body piercings
• Makeup: only light, natural makeup is permitted

Purchasing Uniform

All students will be given a Merit polo shirt free of charge when they start at the school. Further uniform can be purchased from the school office.
