Merit is open today, there is still some snow on pavements but the roads are clear. Please be careful when travelling.

Merit closed 6/1/26

In the interests of safety for students and staff, we have made the decision to close Merit tomorrow 6/1/26. The roads around school are not gritted, temperatures tonight will be -6 and more snow is forecast in the morning.

We are planning to be open on Wednesday 7^th January when temperatures are forecast to be milder but we will update you if this changes. Any updates will also be published on our website.

Merit closes at 12.30 pm on Monday 22nd July for the Summer holidays. All parents and carers are invited to attend our end of year celebration assembly on this date at 11.50 am. Pupils return to school on Wednesday 4th September at 9.00 am. 

Merit will be open for Year 11 to collect GCSE results on Thursday 22nd August 10.00 am - 12.00 pm. If your child would like someone else to collect on their behalf they will need to write a note giving permission. Any results not collected will be posted home.
