Using your persuasive travel brochure you have completed for English you are to create an interactive presentation that can be shown to travel agent customers to encourage them to visit your chosen destination.

Your presentation must:

  • Include text, images, video and sound
  • Be at least 6 slides long each providing different information
  • Have a consistent house style (same font style, size, positioning of text and logos etc)
  • Run automatically (i.e. you don’t need to press a key to make it move from one slide to another)
  • Loop continuously

This week you should research and summarise the following IT legislation and then answer the questions below:

 

  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Copyright, Design and Patents Act 1988
  • Computer Misuse Act 1990
  • Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Freedom of Information Act 2000

    1. Identify the Act that relates to the holding of personal data. (1 mark)
    2. Describe two actions that should be taken to abide by the Act (4 marks)
